Brazil 1} Brazil is the 5th biggest country in the world. Brazil makes up almost all of South America and it also borders every country in South America except Chile and Ecuador . Brazil has a population of 168 million and counting ! 2} The amazon river is in Brazil and is the second largest river in the world .
3 Brazil has a very varied climate due to its size.
4} The rain forest in Brazil provides 1/4 of the world's medicine but it is being cut down at a rate of two whole football fields every second . Three reasons why it is being cut down is for lumber, minerals , and farming space.
5} The north's
economy depends mostly on forestry, agriculture, mining , this
section also has major port cities where you can trade.
6} The south has very good land for farming . It also has the
major cities including :Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. Each of
these major cities has alot of industry happening in them.
7} Favelas are really poor places. In Brazil these favelas are
usually with no running water and sewage systems.
8} The portuguese were the very first to colonize brazil. This is
why the main language in brazil is Portuguese and the main
religion there is roman catholic.
